HealthLink Solutions introduces ScanLink, the latest module in a high-performance suite of patient identification software, HealthLink Solutions. This new solution is now up and running in Jefferson Davis Community Hospital, one of Mississippi's premier critical access hospitals. The new module improves patient identification and streamlines work flow during the admissions process. This software allows the admissions clerks to scan driver’s licenses, ID cards, insurance cards and any other patient documents that the hospital wishes to store in the HealthLink Solutions patient medical file. As an added feature the hospital can also print the patient photo on any printable patient media, such as the patient's wristband or even the patient’s daily forms. “This is a huge leap for patient safety.  Having the ability to put patient photos on forms and especially wristbands will help to dramatically improve patient safety and lower patient misidentification errors," stated John David Smith, HealthLink Solutions Sales Manager.  HealthLink Solutions is currently installing ScanLink in one other hospital with several other installs set for this fall.
